We are open to hiring a contractor to successfully complete the task or to hire a long-term Team Member to also then manage the fleet. QUALIFICATIONS:

RESPONSIBLITIES:
This position will report to the Director of Operations

  • Run certification process of adding the Dash 8 to the Sterling Airways certificate
  • Manage the certification efforts with the FAA
  • Coordinate efforts between internal 119 team and FAA
  • Manage and promote safety within the organization, facilitating hazard identification and safety risk analysis, monitor the effectiveness of safety risk controls and ensure safety promotion throughout the pilot group
  • Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance to integrate procedures into aircraft operations that intersect with ground ops and maintenance, finding solutions that may require modifying aircraft as possible for airframe longevity or better system operations
  • Create programs to effectively manage flight crew operations, creating new processes or modifications to streamline operations
  • Coordinate with the training department to enhance our training processes

The Manager of Safety is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs and initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. This position will oversee the airline’s Aviation Safety Action Program and manage safety analytics for the entire Company, emphasizing our commitment to provide the highest level of safety, customer service, and professionalism as we set a new standard in aviation.  Fully emote position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of experience working in a Safety Department at a Part 121 carrier, at least 1 year of Management experience.
  • 2 years of experience managing WBAT application or equivalent software.
  • Experience with managing ASAP Event Review Committees (ERCs).
  • Experience managing Flight Ops Quality Assurance (FOQA) Programs.
  • Knowledge of data analytics using programs such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
  • Exceptional ability to multitask and handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Valid Driver’s license, ability to successfully pass drug test and background check.
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation safety, Professional Flight, Airline Management, Business Management or Statistics is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position reports to Director of Safety

  • Manage the airline’s Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) for Flight Crews, Flight Attendants, Mechanics, and Dispatchers.
  • Track and analyze Safety Reports, Fatigue Reports, and Safety Hotline messages from employees.
  • Prepare analytical reports to the Director of Safety and senior management regarding safety performance.
  • Serve as the administrator of the company’s safety management software, WBAT.
  • Manage the company’s Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) program, to include data analysis and coordination with Flight Operations management.
  • Investigate incidents that involve potential impacts to flight safety.
  • Identify safety hazards and risks and participate in the airline’s Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Analyze data and prepare monthly reports highlighting safety performance.
  • Prepare and present safety data to the Safety Committee.
  • Communicate safety topics with employees, contractors, and other business partners of Sterling.
  • Revise company Safety manuals to ensure continued compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Provide leadership to Safety Action Groups by working with all stakeholders to address identified concerns.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

This position will report to the Materials Manager

  • Assist the Materials Dept. in establishing and modifying inventory policies, procedures, instructions, and information.
  • Establish, maintain and update vendor related information in the computer program.
  • Monitor all repair order activity, will work with vendors to expedite parts from repair or overhaul.
  • Oversee shelf-life program and ensure that shelf life is not exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods regulatory requirements as they pertain to all materials department activity.
  • Coordinate all aspects of station inventory operations including, but not limited to, timely and accurate shipping, receiving, parts segregation, parts issues, and returns to inventory.
  • Ensure that associated computer transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enforce stockroom security, cleanliness, and organization. Ensure the highest level of inventory integrity is maintained and that awareness of the threat of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS) to that integrity is consistently high.
  • Ensure that only approved Air Carrier Maintenance Providers that are approved by the Company are utilized.
  • Aid in the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance of all vendor performance.

The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive strategy to elevate the company’s brand identity, enhance corporate reputation, market services, and drive consistent and effective communication for the Sterling family subsidiaries. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Brand Strategy
    • Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that aligns with the company’s guiding principles.
    • Oversee brand guidelines and communications and ensure consistency across all platforms.
    • Lead brand campaigns to increase awareness and engagement.
    • Ensure branding efforts are aligned across multiple locations and markets.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in branding, corporate communications, or public relations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Track record of successfully managing brand strategies and corporate communication initiatives.

  • Keeping all equipment in working order and reporting if repairs need to be made.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor

  • The Technician is directly responsible for their assigned maintenance duties. Will work in close coordination with the Quality Control/Quality Assurance Department during the performance of these duties.
  • Responsible for their assigned work area, shop, or ramp, to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards.
  • Perform all aviation maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, the highest shop practices and in the interest of safety of flight.
  • When authorized, perform receiving inspections of parts and accessories ensuring materials received are inspected to the extent necessary to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Company Specifications.
  • Be familiar with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies.
  • Document all required maintenance in accordance with this manual.
  • Assist in the planning, directing, laying out and coordinating activities of their area and other areas to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the handling of parts while repair is in progress which includes the proper tagging and disposition of these components.
  • Assist in initiating Material Requests for stock and/or material as required.
  • Keep tools and support equipment in a safe and operational condition and, when using calibrated equipment, ensure the calibration due time has not expired
  • Utilize personal protection (safety glasses, ear protection, respirator, gloves, etc.) as necessary while conducting daily duties
  • Submit in writing any suggested change in operational procedures that will enhance safe, cost effective aircraft maintenance
  • Responsible for completion of all department internal Company forms, maintenance records documents, work orders, etc

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Aircraft Marshalling and Wing-walking
  • Loading and Unloading of Aircraft
  • Familiarizing and hands on training on the safe operation of ground equipment (specific to equipment being operated)
  • Aircraft servicing (includes catering)
  • Ramp operations including safety rules, ramp markings (signs, signaling devices, lights and blast fences), equipment operating rules and procedures for positioning ground equipment around aircraft
  • Local airport rules and regulations (speed limits, roadways, etc.)
  • Deicing Training in cold weather stations as per the Deice Manual (DIM)
  • Be familiar with aviation security, weight and balance programs.
  • Report safety hazards concerns, hazards, near misses, incidents, and accidents to immediate Supervisor.
  • Protect passenger baggage from damage, loss and weather conditions
  • Report equipment problems to the AIC or the Station Manager
