RESPONSIBLITIES:

This position will report to the Senior Station Agent

  • Responsible for the direct supervision of all station personnel and the safe efficient operation of the stations and activities during airside operations.
  • Ensure conditions at the stations are in compliance with safety requirements. This Includes an on-going program of monitoring facilities for safety problems and taking immediately steps to resolve them.
  • Implement day to day ground operations and delivering training as needed for Ground Operations. Station supervision and addressing customer issues.
  • Administer and supervise daily operations for station personnel and the safe efficient operation of all airside operations.
  • Ensure all Company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements are followed by employees and contracted personnel.
  • Ensure all TSA security information is current and disseminated as required and that agents working flights are properly trained and carry out their duties as defined.
  • Record and audit all training records and background checks for employees and contracted personnel for currency.
  • Monitor and oversee security functions of external organizations and ensure that security controls are properly implemented.
  • Communicate with airport authorities and aircraft servicing companies regarding services necessary for the smooth operation of the airline, such as fueling, deicing, station services, ground handling agents etc
  • Report safety hazards as discovered.
  • Promote safe practices and encouraging reporting of safety concerns or observations.
  • Plan station schedule, such as vacation, sick leave and all holiday coverage for station personnel where employees are present.
  • Ensure that ground equipment is at an acceptable level throughout the system.
  • Ensure an AIC is assigned for each flight and a qualified GSC is on duty at the station.
  • Provide initial and recurrent training compliant with Company policies and regulatory requirements for all our ground operations employees and contractors.
  • Provide training for station agents.
  • Performs customer service and ramp service duties.
  • Lead, assist, and direct station employees as necessary.

Sterling Airways, a new Part 121 airline, is seeking experienced dispatchers for operations. The dispatcher will be responsible for:

  • Proper preparation of flight plans
  • Plan flights as assigned
  • Weather briefings
  • Payload calculations
  • In-flight monitoring
  • Flight debriefs
  • Communicating routinely with on site management personnel on safety of flight, aircraft maintenance status, flight crew status, operational communication issues, customer concerns or personnel issues.

Must be able to work a flexible, variable schedule to include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift with variable days off during the week.

Requirements

RESPONSIBLITIES:

This position will report directory to the Manager of Maintenance

  • The Technician is directly responsible to the Manager of Maintenance for their assigned maintenance duties. Will work in close coordination with the Quality Control/Quality Assurance Department during the performance of these duties
  • Responsible for their assigned work area, shop, or ramp, to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards.
  • Perform all aviation maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, the highest shop practices and in the interest of safety of flight.
  • When authorized, perform receiving inspections of parts and accessories ensuring materials received are inspected to the extent necessary to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Company Specifications.
  • Be familiar with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies.
  • Document all required maintenance in accordance with this manual.
  • Assist in the planning, directing, laying out and coordinating activities of their area and other areas to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the handling of parts while repair is in progress which includes the proper tagging and disposition of these components.
  • Assist in initiating Material Requests for stock and/or material as required.
  • Keep tools and support equipment in a safe and operational condition and, when using calibrated equipment, ensure the calibration due time has not expired
  • Utilize personal protection (safety glasses, ear protection, respirator, gloves, etc.) as necessary while conducting daily duties
  • Submit in writing any suggested change in operational procedures that will enhance safe, cost effective aircraft maintenance
  • Responsible for completion of all department internal Company forms, maintenance records documents, work orders, etc
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Maintenance

  • Ensure compliance to Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods regulatory requirements as they pertain to all materials department activity.
  • Coordinate all aspects of station inventory operations including, but not limited to, timely and accurate shipping, receiving, parts segregation, warehouse transfers, parts issues, and returns to inventory.
  • Ensure that associated computer transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enforce stockroom security, cleanliness, and organization. Ensure the highest level of inventory integrity is maintained and that awareness of the threat of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS) to that integrity is consistently high.
  • Audit inventory transactions to ensure accuracy of computer program and alert the DOM of any trends and discrepancies.
  • Ensure that only approved Air Carrier Maintenance Providers that are approved by the Company are utilized.
  • Aid in the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance of all vendor performance.
  • Has the responsibility and authority for the procurement and stocking of only airworthy.
  • Other duties as assigned by the DOM.
