What You’ll Do:

Your duties include, but are not limited to:
• Passenger Services and Customer Care.
• Check in passengers and baggage while maintaining strict confidentiality of passenger flight and personal information.
• Enplane and deplane passengers safely and efficiently.
• Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.
• Ensure safety and security regulations are followed when passengers access the tarmac.
• Safety, Security, and Compliance.
• Comply with all local airports, FAA and company policies and procedures.
• Conduct aircraft security search procedures as required.
• Follow all safety practices and immediately report hazardous conditions.
• Maintain currency on all required training and certifications.
• Perform GSC or CRO duties upon successful completion of required training.
• Ground and Ramp Operations.
• Perform general ground handling of aircraft, baggage, and related ground operations.
• Marshal aircraft for parking and departure; perform wing-walking duties when assigned.
• Load and unload carry-on and check baggage.
• Load catering supplies and related equipment as needed.
• Operate ground support equipment in accordance with company policies and licensing restrictions.
• Assist with aircraft ground operations while the aircraft is on the ground.
• Station Operations and Administrative Duties.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe station environment.
• Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report repair needs promptly.
• Assist with station opening and closing procedures.
• Perform Cargo Load Report procedures accurately.
• Ensure all monies are accounted for, secured, and deposited in accordance with company procedures.

Cold Bay Station Manager

Reports to Anchorage Station Manager

Qualifications:
•2 years of Customer Service in a Part 121 environment, at least 1 year of Management experience.
•Ability to perform all duties and physical demands of above and below wing. Lift bags up to 50 lbs.
•Experience training agents.
•Technology savvy. Experience with reservation system preferred.
•Exceptional ability to multitask and handle challenging situations with Professionalism and Tact.
•Valid Driver’s License and ability to successfully pass DOT drug and background check.

Responsibilities:
This position reports to the Anchorage Station Manager.
•Report daily for onsite tasks and management of Team. Hours may vary from 5am-8pm Monday to Sunday based on need and staffing.
•Work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure compliance with company policies.
•Participate and train in all areas of station operations. (Ticket counter/Ramp/Cargo).
•Supervise and develop all Ground Operations Team members and contract employees (if applicable).
•Promote Safety in all areas of the workplace.
•Demonstrate customer service in line with company core values.
•Be familiar with local airport, state and federal regulations.
•Serve as secondary point of contact for FAA and TSA auditors and inspectors.
•Assist Training Department with required record keeping and recurrent training items for Ground Operations Team Members.
•Complete daily Manager assignments such as daily station sales, employee time keeping.
•Waive miscellaneous ticketing charges i.e. bag fees, change fee.
•Manage late arrival/mis-loaded baggage for guests.
•Actively correct and document corrective action and discipline of team members.
•Promote safe practices and encourage reporting of safety concerns. Review corrective actions from the Safety Department.
•Coordinate with People Department regarding the hiring, performance improvement and termination.
•Report safety hazards concerns, hazards, incidents and accidents as required by company policy.
•Assist with communication of aircraft servicing companies at gate. To include deicing, fueling and other necessary services.
•Make decisions that ensure policy and procedures and/or security are being followed.
•Other duties that are assigned.
