RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Performs all regulatory and assigned cabin duties with constant attention to guests while providing a safe and comfortable onboard experience.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures and the use of all emergency equipment on board the aircraft; operates all emergency exits and aircraft equipment using all the necessary movements and force up to and including 70 pounds.
  • Provides food and beverages to passengers, which may require pushing and pulling moveable carts weighing up to 250 pounds.

Sterling Airways, a new Part 121 airline, is seeking experienced dispatchers for operations. The dispatcher will be responsible for:

  • Proper preparation of flight plans
  • Plan flights as assigned
  • Weather briefings
  • Payload calculations
  • In-flight monitoring
  • Flight debriefs
  • Communicating routinely with on site management personnel on safety of flight, aircraft maintenance status, flight crew status, operational communication issues, customer concerns or personnel issues.
  • Coordinate operations with management

Must be able to work a flexible, variable schedule to include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift with variable days off during the week.

Requirements

RESPONSIBLITIES:

This position will report directory to the Director of Maintenance

  • The Manager of Maintenance is responsible to the DOM and will assist him in maintaining Company aircraft, directly supervising personnel, and administering Company policy.
  • Assist with scheduling and performance of all maintenance, inspection, and repair of Company aircraft in accordance with Company and FAA procedures and regulations.
  • Ensure that all maintenance, inspections, service bulletins and airworthiness directives are properly performed and recorded in accordance with FAA regulations.
  • Ensure technical data including manuals, service bulletins and airworthiness directives are available and current to support the work assigned.
  • Ensure sufficient spare parts are available to support the repairs and inspections that must be performed.
  • Monitor the status of all work in progress.
  • Monitor the performance of all personnel assigned and assist as required.
  • Ensure maintenance control is advised and updated to the status of out of service aircraft.
  • Immediately advise the DOM of any problem that will cause an interruption of the flight schedule.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Company and FAA Rules and Regulations. Be directly responsible for control and enforcement of those Rules and Regulations in assigned work area.
  • Review the Maintenance Turnover Log for its effectiveness.
  • Assign personnel, as required, to ensure all Company equipment is maintained in good working order and to maintain a neat and clean facility.
  • Assist the DOM in maintaining adequate spare parts and tooling for the cost-effective operation of the airline.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews in accordance with current Company employee performance criteria.
  • Monitor compliance and conduct On-The-Job Training as outlined in the Company Maintenance Training Manual
  • Initiate accident or damage reports, including all pertinent details of the incident, and making suggestions that will prevent a re-occurrence.
  • Manage and track Maintenance Duty Time limitation program for assigned maintenance personnel.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

This position will report directory to the Director of Maintenance

  • Responsible for Maintenance Control & Maintenance Planning departments which is responsible for providing technical and logistical support to the Company’s active fleet on a real time basis.
  • Responsible to provide maintenance schedules for Company aircraft to ensure compliance with the approved Company Maintenance Manual policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Ensure that all required maintenance, inspections, and components removal time intervals are maintained and scheduled in accordance with the Company Maintenance Manual.
  • Issue timely notices and reports to all concerned giving adequate information regarding upcoming maintenance events, parts requirements, etc.
  • Perform planning function of analyzing modification and overhaul projects to originate and coordinate parts and material requirements and manpower requirements to perform scheduled maintenance.
  • Prepare and distribute the daily maintenance work packages.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control/Quality Assurance and Maintenance Departments as necessary for technical analysis for repairs, modification, and overhaul.
  • Ensure work schedules for the Maintenance Controllers provide shift coverage required to operate Maintenance Control and Maintenance Planning.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all necessary reports required of Maintenance Control & Maintenance Planning.
  • Maintain the technical and Company manuals used in Maintenance Control & Maintenance Planning to assure they are current and complete.
  • Responsible to ensure all individuals working in Maintenance Control & Maintenance Planning are properly trained to perform their duties and responsibilities.
  • Provide notification to other Company management personnel and regulatory Authorities of incidents and accidents as instructed by the Company Emergency Procedures and General Maintenance Manuals.
  • Control and oversight of the Out of Service Aircraft. Ensure the associated maintenance information contained in the Company’s computer systems is accurate and up to date.
  • Authorize and oversee the use of On-Call Contract Maintenance Providers to return aircraft to service.
  • Provide technical and logistical support to Maintenance and Flight Crews for active aircraft maintenance discrepancies, Minimum Equipment List, Configuration Deviation List and Administrative Control Items (ACI) to determine proper and timely corrective action.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Flight Dispatch, Materials, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance, providing current and continuing follow-up to ensure positive corrective action is made as promptly as possible for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure that all delays and cancellations reported on the Daily Performance Summary have adequate data to allow proper coding.
  • Perform the duties of the Maintenance Controller and Maintenance Planner as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the DOM.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • The Technician is directly responsible to the Manager of Maintenance for their assigned maintenance duties. Will work in close coordination with the Quality Control/Quality Assurance Department during the performance of these duties
  • Responsible for their assigned work area, shop, or ramp, to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards.
  • Perform all aviation maintenance in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, the highest shop practices and in the interest of safety of flight.
  • When authorized, perform receiving inspections of parts and accessories ensuring materials received are inspected to the extent necessary to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Company Specifications.
  • Be familiar with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and Company policies.
  • Document all required maintenance in accordance with this manual.
  • Assist in the planning, directing, laying out and coordinating activities of their area and other areas to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.
  • Responsible for the handling of parts while repair is in progress which includes the proper tagging and disposition of these components.
  • Assist in initiating Material Requests for stock and/or material as required.
  • Keep tools and support equipment in a safe and operational condition and, when using calibrated equipment, ensure the calibration due time has not expired
  • Utilize personal protection (safety glasses, ear protection, respirator, gloves, etc.) as necessary while conducting daily duties
  • Submit in writing any suggested change in operational procedures that will enhance safe, cost effective aircraft maintenance

  • Coordinate all aspects of station inventory operations including, but not limited to, timely and accurate shipping, receiving, parts segregation, warehouse transfers, parts issues, and returns to inventory.
  • Ensure that associated computer transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Enforce stockroom security, cleanliness, and organization. Ensure the highest level of inventory integrity is maintained and that awareness of the threat of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUPS) to that integrity is consistently high.
